Using the mini gallery of real life photos some taken by me and the other taken by google maps. I drew up the bridge using oil pastels and soft pastels.

Initially, I wanted the bridge feel flat and 2-D like paper Mario or some platformer game. I looked at the significant parts of the bridge which was the blue triangular pillars that surrounded the whole bridge. Next was the metal sides somewhere see through where you can see the train tracks and some completely were blocked off and covered in graffiti. After that was looking around the bridge which was the weather of England which is usually grey skies and the train tracks below the bridge. This first sketch was so bad because it looked to dark and sketchy.

I retried for the second time, I couldn't remove a piece of paper in my sketchbook hence the ripped paper. I kept it because it gives that lo-fi feel to the landscape. This compared to the first sketch, I instantly liked it because it focused on the blue pillars and then separated by the dark colours in the middle then the earthy brown at the tracks.
