This day I went to campus to improve the production of my stop motion and to add the falling off scene on the bridge and off the bridge. I massively improved my production by using dragonframe from stop motion app on my phone. Lighting was also improved by using two lamps instead of one. I had much more deskspace to set stuff and plan.

This animation I recreated the whole bridge walking scene. I think it looked nice and more smooth compared to the choppy previous ones. I liked the drag bit but Kat suggested a bluescreen walkcycle to do a smooth landscape panning shot, which would be a plan b for me.

Next animation was trying to get over the fence of the bridge. I used little cut of green card to create arms and cut out the trousers and feet in half to make them spread apart. I added paper fences to give off an effect that was over the fence.

I redid the same fence animation but this time tucking my character underneath the fences. I created this illusion with a help of Kat and some craft knife. I cut slots for that my cut-out can navigate in-between. This animation looked clearer than the one I used with paper fences.

This bluescreen animation is for my falling scene when I jump down the bridge. I morph into a black ball that turns into a bug. A homage to Kafka's Metamorphosis. The bug turns into an egg that gets cracked and I fall down. I chose egg because that symbolises a new person and also I work a lot in the egg station in my job. The bluescreen looking back at it looks terrible. I can still see shadows and different shades of blue. AND I SHOULD OF USED A PINK SCREEN BECAUSE I HAVE A BLUE ZIPPER

This blue screen is for my walk cycle if I ever wanted to a panning landscape shot. I did about 6 frames so it didn't just look the same walk and have a little bit of bop.
