Neighbours, Norman McLaren (1952)

A stop motion using real actors. It starts with two neighbours that live happily until a flower pops in-between their territories. The flower causes a war between the neighbours, because they both want the flower to themselves. They fight and fight. Their faces turn into animals, carnivores. They dont care, recklessly caring about what they were fighting for in the first place and in the end killing what they loved ,their house and family, slowly killing themselves. the message i gained was that there are no winners in war.
